Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of delights and challenges. The rooms are located outside the main building and require navigating a tight, steep staircase, but once inside, the antique furniture and amenities like a full minibar and cable TV make it cozy. The spacious terrace provides stunning views of Pretoria, giving a unique charm to the stay.
Staying at this hotel was a mix of enchanting and disappointing moments. The rooms were incredibly spacious, with a large bedroom, a long corridor, two bathrooms, and a huge dressing room, exuding Spanish/European old-world charm. The fabulous views over Pretoria from the large balcony were breathtaking, but the rooms at the bottom lacked views and felt dark like a basement.
I was thrilled when I stepped into our luxurious Presidential Suite – almost soundproof, with refreshing air-conditioning, a large bedroom, two bathrooms, and a huge dressing room, all offering fabulous views over Pretoria. The only downside was the makeshift dining setup due to a baby shower event, but the quality of service definitely made up for it.
My stay at the hotel was incredible! The room was spacious with a great balcony and outside sitting area, and we even got upgraded to the Presidential suite, which was just enormous and ridiculously opulent. The staff members were so helpful, making us feel like we were on a luxury cooking show with their attention to detail. The location offered stunning views over Pretoria, perfect for recharging before continuing our trip. The dining experience was good, especially the French toasts, but the setup due to a baby shower wasn't ideal. Overall, the facilities were top-notch, though the price could be a bit high for some.
My stay at Castello de Monte was truly memorable. The rooms were incredibly spacious, with beautiful antique furniture that gave the place a charming Italian villa style. The bathroom was amazing and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. However, I found the dining experience a little rushed, and the location, although superb for its views, required caution when venturing out after dark.
I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The rooms were vast and luxurious, and I was lucky enough to stay in the Presidential suite, which was enormous and ridiculously opulent. Everything I needed was available in the room. However, accessing the room located outside the main building's front doors down a tight steep staircase with no lift access was a bit challenging.
My stay at this hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms were uniquely designed in a true Italian villa style with spectacular views. However, they overlooked a parking lot. On the plus side, the rooms were almost soundproof, and the air-conditioning was a welcome relief from the heat.
The hotel offers a true Italian villa style experience with spectacular views, but the dining options may not fully meet expectations. The service is attentive and friendly, while the location is in an up-market suburb with high elevation. Overall, a charming stay with some minor drawbacks.
My stay at the hotel was such a delightful experience! The rooms were extremely large with beautiful antique furniture almost 3 stories tall, truly a unique touch. Although they lacked natural light, the separate shower and bath were convenient. The hotel also offered a cozy dine and wine atmosphere with a huge fireplace, perfect for a relaxing evening.
I was truly impressed by the hotel's suites, featuring comfortable king beds and spacious verandas with large bathrooms. The amazing views of Pretoria from the terrace, along with the cozy fireplace, made my stay unforgettable. Despite these wonderful features, there were minor inconveniences to consider.
Staying at Castello di Monte Waterkloof ridge was a delightful experience overall. The rooms are beautifully decorated with museum-quality antiques, offering fine views of the gardens and distant scenes of Government House in Pretoria. The service was exceptional, with special touches like personalized breakfast on the terrace with stunning views. The location is fabulous, surrounded by embassies and offering breathtaking views of Pretoria. The dining experience, although satisfactory, could use a bit of improvement. The facilities are top-notch, ensuring a luxurious stay.
My stay at the hotel was absolutely delightful! The rooms were spacious and beautifully designed, with a large en suite bathroom and separate dressing room. The lack of natural light was a bit of a downside, but the spacious terrace offered breathtaking views of Pretoria. The service was impeccable, with the staff showing a genuine passion for their work and going the extra mile to make my stay memorable. The location, nestled among the International Embassies in an upmarket suburb, was just superb for enjoying the stunning views over Pretoria. The dining experience was delicious, although the setting for breakfast was not ideal. The facilities were fantastic, offering everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Staying at the hotel was a delightful experience with spacious rooms featuring comfortable king beds and lovely verandas, although accessed through a tight staircase. The service was exceptional, offering personalized attention and superb food. The location in an up-market suburb provided a quiet retreat with beautiful views, ideal for recharging. The dining options were good, although some improvements could be made. The facilities were well-maintained and added to the overall positive stay.
The hotel boasts incredibly opulent Presidential suites with everything we needed, ensuring a comfortable stay.
My stay at the hotel was absolutely exquisite. The rooms were exceptionally large, boasting beautiful antique furniture that added a touch of elegance to my experience. The separate shower and bath were of the highest quality, making me feel like royalty in the Presidential Suite. However, navigating the tight steep staircase with no lift access was a minor inconvenience. The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The location, nestled in the neighborhood of the International Embassies, was both charming and convenient, despite the presence of pigeons on the ledges. The dining experience was delicious, although it could use a touch-up in terms of variety for breakfast. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything I needed for a truly luxurious stay.
